over riding a couple of things

I need to over ride the "leave a review" option AND the inventory option...

My manager has specifically requested these two to be over ridden because of the nature of the store we're trying to build

By "override" do you mean "not show" or "change the function"?

Display of both these can be turned off in the admin.

I need to make both of them disappear...

the reviews need to not be useable...

and since we are reselling, we're not keeping a physical inventory on hand...so I need to not mess with inventory #'s...but not have the program say "out of stock" on me...if they can be turned off in admin, I'd appreciate ya pointin' me in the right direction...

Reviews: admin > catalog > product types > on the right edit layout > Show Product Reviews Button > and set to "0"

The other requires a couple of settings to insure function:

admin > catalog > product types > on the right edit layout > Show Quantity in Stock > set to "0"
admin > config > layout settings > Categories with 0 Products Status > set to "1"
admin > config > Stock > Allow Checkout > set to "true"
admin > config > Stock > Products status in Catalog when out of stock should be set to an set to "1"

I think I covered all of them...

Actually, the "Categories with 0 Products Status" setting doesn't have anything to do with stock levels and doesn't need to be set a particular way for this function. (It refers to categories that have no products defined for them.) You can set it however works for you in the general scheme.
