Different Thumbnails for Same Image using IH2

Hi,

I'm using the ImageHandler mod and it's working really well. However, I need to display different thumbs than the 'small' version in the IH2 admin.

I would like to display cropped versions of the large sized images as thumbnails to retain some detail. I tried using css and clipping the image, but it gave less than perfect results. For some reason, I needed to set the position as absolute and it threw everything out of whack. I also tried uploading a thumb version as the default image size and the larger image as, well, the larger image size!

You can see that the thumbnails are cropped to 30x30 of the large images. Is this possible using ImageHandler2? I realize that I could set the 'small' image width to 30px and leave the height at 0 to retain proportions, but I'm really looking to keep the look of the static site.
