upgrade cfg files or database upgrade???

Hello,

Could someone please explain what is the different between upgrade cfg files and database upgrade. I just upgraded my website using upgrade database but wondered do need to upgrade cfg files too. If not when do use this and what are the benefits.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Nope there is no need to upgrade config files :)
Only DataBase
