Installing from DreamHost - please help - cannot login

I've done everything that the email from DreamHost said to do for the installation, following the directions on the installation pages... If I go to http://harmony.magatsu.net/shop/ I'll see an example store that I chose to install when it asked me during installation.

There is one thing that it's telling me to do after this :

"Go to ADMIN > CONFIGURATION > SESSIONS > RECREATE SESSIONS... set this
to FALSE.
(Otherwise users will not be able to log in to your store!)"

Well, when I try to login it just takes me to a page with this message:

Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at harmony.magatsu.net

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
      moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
      connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

So, I have no idea what to do now... this may be a simple thing, but I don't know... if you could help me out I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

Re: Installing from DreamHost - please help - cannot login

When I click login on the store page it tries to go to this address

https://harmony.magatsu.net/shop/index.php?main_page=login

which doesn't work

however if I remove the
https:// it will work...

So how can I change the link to not go to this https:// thing...
Im not sure how this works, or what the https means.... but obviously it doesn't work x___x;

So I tried to go to the admin page taking off the https:// part too and it takes me to the admin login, but then when it goes to login it tries to take me to a page starting with the https:// again which doesn't work.

Re: Installing from DreamHost - please help - cannot login

I Love dream host,
they send me more clients than anywhere else...
LOL

Ok to fix this you will need to go into your files using ftp

You will need to go to the zen cart folders and open the
includes/configure.php

at the top of the code you will see where it says define SSL set it to false,
save and close
re upload

then do the same in admin/includes/configure.php

this is going to turn the SSL ( https ) off.
you will need to find out from them if they have shared ssl and the URL,

Re: Installing from DreamHost - please help - cannot login

Thank you so much... that seemed to have worked!

Dreamhost also tells me:

"Go to ADMIN > CONFIGURATION > SESSIONS > RECREATE SESSIONS... set this
to FALSE.
(Otherwise users will not be able to log in to your store!)"

Should I do that?

Also, is there some advantage to having pages SSL? with the https://....
Maybe there is something in dreamhost that I have to enable to allow that kind of thing to work....
