Hi barco57,

You have just provided the answer to the problem. After signing into USPS if you get the page crash and error, never getting to the form page then the problem is your cart is not passing total weight in Pounds & Ounces. All of my dealers carts the order page show weight, my cart is blank for weight. By putting in either "0" or Pounds & Ounces will allow the USPS form page to display halting on Enter valid weight.

Well I found out the cart has the weight to pass but why is it crashing the USPS form page on my cart and on the other 6 clone carts work leaving the pounds & ounces blank. For now filling in the weight is much better than filling in the whole form. The problem has something to do with the weight field.

You can actually generate the error in any of the fields to get the same result. We just chose the weight because it was easier for the way we process.

This mod used to work flawlessly and then usps made a change that required that we force an error on the form.

The discussion about the problem is buried someplace in this thread, at least a year ago according to my recollection

Do you have any idea why it still works flawlessly on my other zencarts. The only difference that I can think of is their MySQL is much smaller than mine. That USPS women said that code error means you are trying to fill form with a auto fill program instead of manually typing in the blanks. Then they must have something to detect a manual key stroke then it will allow the form to be displayed.

Now I completely understand what the discussion long ago was about in putting in 00000 in Other. They have to have a key stroke dector to make the page crash if a manual key stroke is not dectectd. What a bunch of jerks the USPS can be. When they find out how this work a round works they will add a key counter to make it crash if the number of keys are not a certain amount.

I had FedEx, USPS autofil, and several other mods installed all working fine. Then I installed SuperOrders and had problems. I would remove SuperOrders then reinstall USPS Autofill.

The USPS Autofill button can work fine with SuperOrders. You just need to copy the USPS code snippets in admin/orders.php over to admin/super_orders.php (I think the readme says there are four snippets - you can compare the files to find them).

Well USPS autofill replaces the "admin/orders.php" file. If you are using superorders, you aren't using that file.

There is an included version for superorders as well. But if you already have the fedex one, then you have to merge them all together.

The other day I started experiencing a new problem with the module. I have the @ fix in place and that was working just fine. Now, all of a sudden, none of the customer info shows up for most of my orders. Anyone else having this problem?

Does the WPP use a different address table?

I am upgraded to the highest zen cart available. I have all the files on my ftp server I just do not know which ones to use like which one to turn into the order.php?? The directions are sort of not clear to me and I would like some more help. If anyone could help that would be great. I have the button on my zencart admin but when I click it nothing appears on the send to side. I do not know what is wrong I have tried everything and this is my last resort and now I'm using it.

I'm using 1.3.8a. Using Autofill (and other add-ons as well). Autofill works fine except for one issue. My product shipping weight is 1 lb. I used the shipping config to upcharge shipping by 1.5 lbs. So the total shipping weight should be 2.5 lbs. Zen Cart calculates the USPS cost correctly based on 2.5 lbs but Autofill just uses the 1 lb. shipping weight assigned to the product without adding the upcharge weight from the shipping config. Any idea how to have Autofill use the 2.5 lb total weight? Thanks.

To set a particular wieght for the click n ship just go to your USPS Auto-Fill Config under the Configuration Menu in your zencart admin area. You can set the autofill amount of pounds and ounces. So in your case you would put 2 in the pounds area and 8 in the ounces.

did you ever find a way to unbreak the super orders mod and use with usps autofill? i'm very interested in autofill but without super orders, my life would be not worth living. any update?

Hi,

I just downloaded this add on and used it for the first time, but for me it had a bug.

It filled in the screen and gave me errors as if the fields were blank, which I ignored. When I continued, it was fine until it showed me my shopping cart.

The shopping cart had 2 labels in it: the correct one that it had just filled in but also the last customer I had printed a label for a few days ago.

When I printed the last customer a few days ago, I'm sure I clicked Yes for 'did this label print correctly' because it charged my CC and shows in my shipping history.

So I'm not sure why it put the last customer back in the shopping cart.

I'm using Zen 1.3.8 a.

Was this one ever figured out? I am seeing the same problem. Superorders + auto fill works great for regular paypal, but the recipient information is not transferring when the buyer uses a credit card and selects USPS shipping. Works fine with a credit card and zone shipping.

The rest of the data is transferred - just the recipient name, address, city, state, zip and email are missing. Sender info, weight and ref number move across.
