Yes, thanks! I was actually modifying the correct attribute but I had a stylesheet_backup.css in the same directory which overrided my color
settings... I did not know that other files in that directory could cause
such a problems. I'm don't know much about CSS.
Problem solved!
Thanks everyone for your help!
Eric
Yes, that would prevent changes. It's wise to have backups, but just put in a extra randomly named file extention to kill off the backup file from being actually parsed from browsers. You'll get the hang of it in no time. :yes:

I've never tried it with v1.3.5, but it should be the same as the prior version.
Firstly, you'll have to make a DIV class for the sidebox footers into copies of tpl_box_default_left.php and the tpl_box_default_right.php that you put into a new 'common' folder in your current template folder.
Example with the left;
<!--// bof: <?php echo $box_id; ?> //-->
<div class="leftBoxContainer" id="<?php echo str_replace('_', '-', $box_id ); ?>" style="width: <?php echo $column_width; ?>">
<h3 class="leftBoxHeading" id="<?php echo str_replace('_', '-', $box_id) . 'Heading'; ?>"><?php echo $title; ?></h3>
<?php echo $content; ?>
<div class="leftBoxFooter" id="<?php echo str_replace('_', '-', $box_id) . 'Footer'; ?>"></div>
</div>
<!--// eof: <?php echo $box_id; ?> //-->
Then, for the left example, you can make this selector in your stylesheet;
.leftBoxFooter {
background-image: url(../images/boxbottom.jpg);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
width: 160px;
height: 7px;
}
The only drawback is that it's "simple", meaning that your sideboxes will have to stay at a defined width, whereas with more work... you can have a the images fill as expansion occurs, more dynamically. Actually, you should download Kuroi's template and use his sidebox technique, as it's a more fluid design. :smile:
