What is the best way to set shipping?

I have certain products that weigh just a couple of ounces while the other ones are just 1 to 2 lbs..... I dont want to convert the ounces to pounds, but wanted to know if there was an easier way to do this?

Or is there a way to set up a FLAT RATE on CERTAIN items? If so, please tell me in detail how it is done..

If you want to ship by weight then you need to set your weights for all products ...

At this time, there are no mixed shipping methods available ...
