Product not linking to virtual download file

Hi, I have a major problem. I just upgraded to the newest version but now it won't link to the virtual download file. I put all the information in for the product and it sets up ok except that where it says Please Choose: and lists the files to download, it's not there even though I put it in. The downloads I put in for products before the upgrade are still working fine. I just can't get it to work on the new version. Anyone having the same problem or any suggestions on what might be wrong?

Have you an URL to a Product that we could peek at to see what might be the issue?

Yes, this is the addy of the file. It's the same as the other onee only with a different zip file on the end.

and I also tried this as there are more than one of us and we wanted to keep our files separate.

And while we're at it, am I putting it in the right folder and what folder should I be putting my product pics in?

You cannot directly download those they are protected so people cannot steal them ... effective, eh?

How are you setting up your attributes and downloads?

NOTE: The URL I was looking for was to your Shop and one of your Products with a Download ... :eek:

NOTE: you have no Payment Modules that show ...

I would write down the settings on all Payment Modules and uninstall and reinstall them ... and reconfigure ...

Then, make sure you have the Zen Cart Free Charger installed ...

I cannot download the Free Product ... and when the Order is Free and Shipping is Free ONLY the Zen Cart Free Charger freecharger will work ... :smile:

Sorry, found it. I will be asking questions about this because it seems like the process is soooo much more difficult than before the update. Am I wrong or is it the same?

Downloads work the same as before ...

The things that might throw you are the safeties added that "accidentally" allowed things to work that sometimes "appeared" to work correctly and other times did not ...
