Problem w/ terms & privacy notices,

I have searched endlessly for this answer - perhaps I am overlooking it, but I'm pretty sure I haven't: I have a Privacy Notice that my customers view at checkout, but I do not need them to approve it - can I turn the approval function off? Also, I have turned on the "display terms & conditions & require customer approval" function, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where I'm supposed to go to edit what my terms & conditions are. Insight, anyone? Thanks for the help!

you can definitely turn it off.. its right below where you turn on the display terms and conditions. (admin > configuration > regulations)

to edit your "terms and conditions", go to the define page editor (admin > tools > define page editor) and choose define_conditions.php
