1016 Can't open file: 'zen_sessions.MYI'. (errno: 145)

Please can someone let me know what has gone wrong with my website. I have gone in to access it this morning and am met with the message '1016 Can't open file: 'zen_sessions.MYI'. (errno: 145)'. I have a couple of orders that have come in over the weekend and can't access them to get them out to my customers so am in a bit of a mess. Can anyone advise what I can do. I have looked around the forum but can't see anything the same. Thanks.:yuck:

It looks like your database is damaged. That may be caused by a full disk at the host for example.

If the sessions table is the only part that is damaged you can repair it I suppose. The only thing that will be lost is the old sessions, but you don't need those anyway. I would check the tables in phpMyAdmin.

If other tables are damaged too, I think you will need to load a backup of your database (hopefully you do have a backup!).

(Note: I would also create a new backup asap. Maybe the important data is still ok now, but the other tables might damage too.)

I am getting exactly the same error on my site. :frusty:

in:
[delete from zen_whos_online where time_last_click < '1224468589']

Is this a fix that is resolved by the host or do i have to do anything on my side?

I've contacted the host, and they said "they will look into it" and it may take 48 hours. This scares me.

That error means there is corruption in the MySQL database infrastructure which stores your MySQL database data. It's an issue your host must resolve.
