Has Zen Cart ever had a third party security audit?

Hi All,
I notice recently that some other carts are doing independant third party security audits. Just wondering if this is being planned for Zen Cart? No reason at all to suspect there's anything up with this great product but I did see this link and it just made me wonder.

The quick answer to that is no.

I would be interested to know which carts are doing this 3rd party code audit, and who they are using.

Generally I have been pleased with the way that third partties, for example Gulftech help in security auditing of the Zen Cart code, We also do security auditing ourselves, However whether this is done by a 3rd party or in house does not guarantee that code is 100% secure (think of microsofts security budget, compared to ours :( )

What we do, is respond to reports as fast as humanly possible, and we don't hide problems.

We also have an ongoing revue of how code works, and ways in which we wtite code can be used to mitigate security vulnerablilities, Ideas from those revues work their way into bugfix releases, as well as affecting future development.

Well, that fair enough. Zen seems to be a good, secure product and if everybody follows the security guidelines, then there'll be no problems.
