Grid Layout for ALL Products

Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to make a column layout (like the grid layout add-on) for the "All Products" link? The add-on has worked great for all of the products in regular categories, but for the Show All Products link, it is still in the default "rows" format. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can provide.

I am sure that this can be enabled,,,buit as the grid layout is file and DB driven I defer the actual code steps to another.

Anyone accomplished this OR used the all products link as the starting page?
