large images are not appearing

I am running:
Zen Cart 1.3.0.2
Database Patch Level: 1.3.0.2

I put my small images 80x80 into the main images directory.
There are named: medallion_cocoa_sm.jpg, sp_necklace_sunstone_sm.jpg, etc.

My medium images are put in the medium directory. I've renamed the suffix to _med.
My large images are put in the large directory. I've renamed the suffix to _lg.
medium and large images are named similarly. medallion_cocoa_lg.jpg, medallion_cocoa_med.jpg

My small image height/width are changed to 80x80.
My medium images are 260x260, so I changed the product info image height/width to 260x260.

When I click on the link: "larger image" it pulls up the 80x80 and not the 500x500 residing in the large folder.

Did I screw something up or set something wrong? I have searched the frums and the internet and could find nothing exactly like this..

It's probably in your naming structure.

For instance, medallion_cocoa_sm.jpg. For this to work, you have to start all of the corrosponding images with that root name, the medium image would have to read:

medallion_cocoa_sm_MED.jpg and so on. Better to use a root name like:

medallion.jpg
medallion_MED.jpg
medallion_LRG.jpg

Thats exactly what was happening.
Too bad zencart doesn't have the small directory also.
Long before I decided to use zencart, my naming conventions always been sm, med, lg. Now I have to fix code on seveal pages and rename a few hundred sm images :blink:
