request: hitech stock attribute

Hello Zencarters,

I have found a really cool thing in a XTC-Shop. Wondering if there is a similar module for ZenCart also?

It's a shirt shop and first you have to choose the color - after that the backgrondcolor of the boxes change into 3 different colors. red = not available, yellow = only a few available, green = many available, another thing is when you make a mouseover it shows exactly the products on stock!

I love this too. This will most likely be an AJAX module and sadly there's nothing like it currently for Zen Cart.

Management of stock by attributes is due to be incorporated into the next major release of Zen Cart. For the time being there's just an add-on with a dodgy table structure to do this.

Once a proper database structure has been established for this function and the code is better integrated into the core of Zen Cart, I would expect to see some sexy modules like the one that you have shown here begin to appear.
