What company to process Credit Cards?

I have installed and am currently configuring my Zen-Cart.
GREAT program thus far. Very thorough, thanks.

Anyway, for payment I'm looking for recommendations on companies
that can be integrated into the Zen-Cart & also allow me to process
them on my website/server.

What I mean is, I dont want the payment page to just be a redirect
to paypal where you input the payment information on their end
and then upon confirmation, you are redirected back to my site. I would
rather keep it all on my site if this makes sense.

Recommendations?

Re: What company to process Credit Cards?

so LinkPoint/and their module will process the credit card information in real time
without redirecting the buyer anywhere?

(thanks for the QUICK reply)

Re: What company to process Credit Cards?

How is the money from the transaction transferred to you, the seller?
Sorry for the questions, but I've only dealt with paypal (blah)

Re: What company to process Credit Cards?

from what i've read, money is directly deposited in your account within 48 hours (you have to specify a checking account, etc)

i'm currently in the process of signing up with them.. just waiting to give them a call so i can find out if its a contract based deal or not

Re: What company to process Credit Cards?

You sign a merchants agreement, there is no time frame on it,
the rates are reasonable and setup is fairly quick
rates are listed on the recomended service page.

Yes funds are scrubbed int your bank after 48 Hrs
so Nightly with a 48 hr wait per transaction

There actually is a time frame on it - I called earlier today. You sign a 6 month agreement with them, basically you have to process with them for 6 months OR if you decide to cancel, you owe the remaining monthly minimums.

Example: Your monthly minimum is $25.. and you quit after 3 months. You would owe them $75 along with any cancellation fee they charge

Cardservice sounds like a good service, but I found someone local that is a CS/FirstData agent so I will be going through them.. signing the paperwork later tonight!

They may have changed it from the time that you had signed up most likely.. I'm sure you've been a long time customer of theirs :)
