Items out of stock

I am having a problem with my items being marked as out of stock. I have edited the items to be in-stock and put the dates in stock as 9-24-06 but when I actually go to the store to try to test purchasing it says out of stock and I can't purchase it. How do I fix this

Are you tracking stock? Do the Products have any quantity?

Check the settings in the Configuration ... Stock ...

Products didn't have any quantity. Thanks for your help
