Single product option problem
Hi guys,
I have a situation with a live site that just sold a customer an item under my cost. We've worked it out, but I'd rather not have this happen again. It's not a bug per se, but a consequence of the way I am using the priced by attributes option.
In this case, I am selling bicycle shifters. They can come in a left shifter, right shifter, or a pair. The individual shifters are each $140, the pair is $280. So under product attributes I have left only +$0, right only +$0, and pair $+140 with a base product price of $140.
A lot of my stock is not actually in stock, but resides with a supplier. So I wrote some code that does a daily check in wih our supplier and updates my database accordingly. It happens that the inidividual shifters are not available right now, which means the only option that shows up on the site is the pair. The problem is, Zen Cart doesn't include the price by option when there's only 1 attribute!

What I would like to do is check for only one attribute, and in such a situation add the attribute price to the base price. Can someone who knows this app well point me to the files I will need to modify?
