Will downloads work if they were made for a previous version?

Hi,

I just upgraded to the most recent version of Zencart v1.3.5. Will a download mod created for a previous version still work? I am looking to use the Quickbooks add-on, however it looks like it is for a previous version of zen.

There are no guarantees. Sometimes the support-thread discussing the contribution may indicate whether it will work with other versions and any potential caveats. The "readme" may also do similarly. Or not.
