Re: how can i resize my store

That's a bad combination. What you see is only based on a few active selectors left in the stylesheet that aren't table based.
Basically, that's an obsolete template with an obsolete stylesheet. You'll have to choose another template or just make your own custom one relatively close... perhaps keeping hipctech_lite as a part-time rebuilding project.

Re: how can i resize my store

not really what i wanted to hear lol
im nerw to zen cart and wouldn know where to go about making a new template
the reason i chose this teplate is beacuse i want to use images to make up my headers for my boxes and this was the only template i found that uses 3 imagens instead of just 1 or 2
surely there must be a way to tretch this template out to full screen

Re: how can i resize my store

I didn't think so... nobody likes to get spewed on by a skunk.

I think you mean about three heading images(end caps and middle image) for a more fluid expansion? Yeah, I'm not positive if any appropriate templates have more than just one piece image. However, it is achievable with some work. I'm just looking at the source picture of that template and it seems sorta daunting. I suppose you could use Firefox and the web dev bar to try converting the old selectors to new, but methinks you won't get very far as there are quite a few tabled files required for that template. That's why the header/footer don't show at all. Sorry, I don't know what else to suggest.

That's too bad I didn't use three piece boxtops/bottoms for my conversion of Blue Strip, otherwise you could have used it as a base. Then again, it wasn't as fancy as yours to begin with.

Re: how can i resize my store

You're welcome.

What did I get myself into? ...Joking. You should make sure all the files for the template are in their respective subfolders first. I just checked your page source and there is nothing for the header or footer. Inside the actual template folder, there should be four subfolders. Most importantly, the "common" subfolder that have all those PHP files... seven to be exact. With that all being said, I wonder why it didn't revert back to default files... unless your current template "common" folder is empty. I dunno what to make of it.

Edit: I guess we'll continue in your new thread...
