Need to close the gap above the text in main page

How do I close the gap (and you can tell me why there is one to start up with in the first place)?

store/includes/languages/english/html_includes/define_main_page.php

I have an image then a pragraph of text below it. There is big gap between the two. All I did was to change the text in the main page. How can I close this gap between the image and the text starting with as below

<image> 'All works of art presented by our...... '

Here is the link since you gonna ask for it - http://www.arthq.com.au/store/index.php

Re: Need to close the gap above the text in main page

It appears that even though you have removed the greeting and the heading they are still being called as per this in your source :

<h1 id="indexDefaultHeading"></h1> <h2 class="greeting"></h2>

This is why you have the gap. Remove those code calls and it will "tighten up".

Hope that helps

Re: Need to close the gap above the text in main page

They aren't removed - I still see them in your source code.

<div class="centerColumn" id="indexDefault"> <h1 id="indexDefaultHeading"></h1> <h2 class="greeting"></h2> <!-- deprecated - to use uncomment this section <div id="" class="content">This is the main define statement for the page for english when no template defined file exists. It is located in: <strong>/includes/languages/english/index.php</strong></div> --> <!-- deprecated - to use uncomment this section <div id="" class="content">Define your main Index page copy here.</div> -->

This code should be found in your file:

includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_index_default.php

The closing tag for the div is at the end of that php file ;)

In Firefox it looks really nice now - at least to me it does:yes:

Re: Need to close the gap above the text in main page

Now maybe you can do me a favor ?

Where did you get the images for your sidebox?

I have to ask because those are MY images and I can prove it- they are from MY domain and i have the original dated files to prove it!

I would like to know who has stolen my original works without giving me any credit whatsoever I might add and this layout was NEVER released as free !

I would suppose that my code is being used to make the boxes as well ?

Thanks!

Re: Need to close the gap above the text in main page

Mods and anyone else - sorry for spouting off like that - but it is really disheartening to see that not only was my code copied, but my images were as well.

I had posted the code previously as an example as to changing colors on each sidebox, but that certainly didn't mean "come take the images and all of my css" it was posted as a reference.

I know I will prolly get sent to the corner for my outburst and all I can do is blame myself for spouting off.

I will now go back to the corner where bad girls live :(
