Newbie question

Hi

Ive successfully installed vers 1.35 and its working a treat.

My main criteria in using this cool script is the ease of updating products. I would need this update weekly as my stock would change that frequently. Im looking for a mod that will allow me to upload weekly a product list in excel (and ideally an export facility)

Question one

does any one have a mod that can do this efficiently, like when the first install asked for products etc to be included?

Question two

how would the images be populated by this? Is it necessary for the images to be ftp uploaded to a directory and referred to in the product list?

Sorry for the newbie questions, just trying to find if zen can meet my project requirements...looking good i must admit.

Re: Newbie question

Now that is surprising, with all the users in this forum I thought this would be a most useful modification.

I havent got my head around the coding involved to attempt this myself.

Maybe the Zen isn't the ideal choice for my project.

Does anyone have a suggestion of another cart script that could do this simple task?

Thanks in advance

Re: Newbie question

Couldn't you use Easy Populate (for uploading product info/stock) and then use Image Handler to control the images?

Do a quick search for both of the above contributions on the forums.

Hope that helps! :)
