Adding Sub Categories to the Category Side Box

Hi

i would like to add sub categories to my category side box
like the ones on this site

i like the shop side box and would like to do something similar for my site

any help will be greatly appreciated

This sit has basically taken current sideboxes and modified to their purpose and probably used the "About Us" module avaliable in the dowwnloads section. You might also try contacting the store owner,

i'm using the current version of zencart

can anyone point me in the right direction

which file will i need to modify to include the dividers in the category box

If the site you referenced is what you are seeking...these are not dividers in the same sidebox, they are distinct sideboxes without any space between them. Did you look at the "About Us" contribution?

i'm sorry

i thought it was one category box with dividers

what i would like to do is seperate the links in the category box into sub categories

with individual dividers

that way i can organize the category links into individual sub categories

i looked at the About Us contribution but i'm not sure how to use it other than creating additional pages for my site

Without looking deeply into this...I would venture that the method used on your reference site is the most expedient path to follow. There is more than one way to ski a cat though..

The "about us" module is primairly for adding sideboxes, you do not have to enter links to additional pages, but can enter links to other categories. You can view the link at the site by placing the mouse over the item and viewing the information at the bottom of your browser window or viewing the source for the main page.
