Need help quickly - Can't configure product listings!!!

Now the rest of my site looks like this:

NOTE: These pages are on my server at home, and accessed via dyndns, so it might be a bit slow.

Suffice it to say that the first two links are white with black, big, bold text

On the product listing page, there are no images being shown, even though I added them under Catalog->Categoris/Products

I have looked at and tried to edit MANY php files, adn not found the right one. I have edited the style sheets and even added

#productListing {
color: #ff0000;
}

just to see if some text would change color.

I can't figure out where to control the text, the table that it is laid out in, the background images, or even to get rid of the baners & crap. This page seems to be governed somewhat diferently from the rest of the normal pages (for example, I can put a tpl_main_page.php with the headers, columns, and footers disabled in /templates/test_template/contact_us to get rid of the headers, footer, etc. on the contact_us page. When I do the same for this page, I get errors everywhere.

Ultimately I don't want "More info" links either. I want to order directly from the page, and I want the page to look very similar to:

http://www.connequestrian.com/items.html
(just plain old html file).

I've been trying to figure this out for about 10 hours and getting nowhere very slowly.

Please help quick!

EDITED: Never, ever post the zen_id or zenAdminID (session id) in a forum, email, newsgroup, newsletter, advertisement, etc. etc. etc. or you will be doomed ... :eek:

BTW, this is how I created the fiasco that you see:

1. Created a category ("Ladies") - zencart gave it an ID of 65
2. Under that category, I created the products that you see on that page

When I created those products I added a picture, then clicked on Preview, where it loks TOTALLY different from what you see on the screen there. Clicked on update to save it.

The link that I am using is the link that ZenCart initially put into the headers next to login, home, etc. for "Ladies"

You are using a subdomain ...

Then, your listings are calling http://192.168.168.168

You need to get your settings right for this ...

Some sites are not good with subdomains ...

I am not sure what you are doing with the IP address ...

Perhaps start with posting from the server your file:
/includes/configure.php

without the username and password ...

Using a subdomain because this is strictly a test server on a machine at home.

Making all changes on this before I upload to the real site.

The Subdomain is a DynDNS account. 192.168.168.168 is the (unroutable) static IP of the machine.

turdferguson.kicks-***.org is simply an alias for my external dynamic IP, and I have NAT and port forwarding turned on so that traffic can get to the machine inside my network.

To the machine itself it doesn't matter. It's getting the files from itself, so that stuff.

Here's the configure.php file. It all looks correct, and "REMOVED" is neither my DBs UID or password.

In the meantime, I'm using a hack.

I am basically creating a new page. The define_newpage.php file has my static html code.

What I did was take the 2nd of the links in my first post & look at the source.

I took the correct form (start & end), product_id for the cart, and (correctly numbered) attrib options from that page and put it in my define_newpage.php file. I had to repeat this for each individual item and verify that I got all of the numbers/IDs correct.

It works. At least I can select say 3 pink vests and click on add to cart, and I see 3 pink vests in the cart. Then I go back & browse and select 2 Turquoise jackets and add them to the cart, and the cart correctly shows the correct vests & jackets.

It's a kludge but it works for now, But now I have to figure out how to customize the look of the cart page itself. Like the other pages, I don't think I can simple create a tpl_main_page.php file and put it in a /templates/test_template/shopping_cart (or whatever) dir to remove the headers, footers and columns. The cart page itself doesn't have to look exactly like the rest, but I'd at least like to remove the banners, and control the fonts, faces, etc. via the correct stylesheet options.

How do I do this (Which files should I be editing for this, and what should I be editing)?
