how to add a automatic charge to each order?

hello all,

i've looked through the previous posts/threads but don't see anything in particular to what i'm looking for... i need to add a automatic $10 charge to every order. i don't see it in the shipping/payment options... does anybody know how to do this?

a styrofoam box. these boxes are expensive. otherwise i'd have to charge a higher price for my goods which i don't. every other competitor site charges this also.

Most of the shipping modules have a handling charge that you could set to $10. Would that work?

In Admin->Configuration->Shipping/Packaging, you have the ability to force an uplift on the weight calculated, as a means to add tare costs to the order. Perhaps something in that realm may be suitable, if the Handling Fee option within your specific shipping module isn't sufficient.

... or perhaps the low order fee order total module could be used. Maybe you would
waive this fee on orders above a certain about... try it out.

Do you have Fedx Module installed?
If yes, you should see it under Admin->Modules->Shipping!
