linkpoint vs. authorize.net for a new account

Hi ---

I'm setting up a new site in 1.3.5 and was curious as to recommendations for credit card processing. More specifically, I'm curious as to why linkpoint is a recommeded service on the Zen site --- yet, authorize.net is the one credit card processor already integrated in with the cart. In comparing the two deals, it seems as though the Cardservices Int / Linkpoint is a much better deal financially, but I want to understand if there are any negatives relative to testing, support or use now and in the future. Can anyone shed some light on this? Also, are there any plans on integrating the Cardservices / Linkpoint directly into Zen on a future release?

Yes, the LinkPoint module will be included in the next release of Zen Cart.

What did you end up using. I had the same question and am trying to choose my payment module and want to get advice on which one people recommend. Let me know if you went with linkpoint or authorizenet or something else.
