display more than 10 products

I have 15 products in a catagory. when I click that catagory it dispays 10 and 5 on next page.
I searched forum, it showed should change Admin>Configuration>Maximum Values.

But I tried all. it still only shows 10 products

You're in the correct area of the Admin. There are several similar settings there that control different aspects of the front end display.

Try changing 'Products Listing- Number Per Page' (about 3/4 of the way down the page), to 15 or whatever works best for you.

I tried searching for display categories and increase display categories products, but this thread didn't come up. I only found it by scanning through.

Hi,

Just tried it. Didn't work for the admin area.

Having a hunt around for "MAX_DISPLAY_RESULTS_CATEGORIES" I think that's the one that is controlling the number of lines I see when I look at the categories/products display.

So far, can't find where to change it.

OK. It's beyond me :)

I tried changing some MAX_ values in the database via phpmyadmin but no change in the display.

I'm putting in admin, new 'products' via catalog/ categories/products.
It however only lists 10 categories/products at a time.

How can I increase the display of categories and products inside admin?

If you know the constant that you are looking for ... you can use the Tools ... Developer's Tool Kit to locate a setting ...

Enter into the first input box the constant that you are looking for, this can be either in the configuration table or the product_type_layout table ...

Do not select anything from the dropdown, leave that set to: None

Click the Search and this will display the information on this constant ...

Then, to locate where it is in the Configuration Settings, hit the Edit button and it will take you right to it ...

How can I increase the number of categories and products displayed inside admin? The above answer only affects the shop. And in scanning throught the different settings, only the featured products has a setting for admin.

I would like 25 or 50, rather than the 10 at a time at the moment.
