Missing Images after Secure Login

After installing my SSL, I have new problem and I have no idea how to fix it.

First of all, I lost my background on the log in page, but that I can live with. However, on the sign in page as well as the page immediately after customer login, all the images are red x's.

How the heck did I do that?! :shocking:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is that shared or dedicated SSL?
Do you have hotlinking enabled in your host's control panel?

It is a dedicated SSL and static IP.

I have no idea about the hotlinking, I will check. Should it be disabled?

Oh, maybe because your certificate is issued to https://www.bellarosadesigns.com , but your store URL is just bellarosadesigns.com, without the www.

You can try to turn off the hotlinking and see. The images don't show on the page, but I can pull them by direct links.

ooooh, I see the problem with the www vs. the non-www . Is that something I can correct somehow?

I believe you can adjust those settings via the main configure.php . I'll try to find you a good thread as a guide.

I'm not sure, I've got two browsers going and I can pull the images from both via the actual link. I've dumped the cashes and I still don't see the actual images on the login page though.

Well, leave it to me to create an unusual problem. lol. :blush:

You were right, I disabled the hotlink protection and now the images are there.

I'm concerned about not having hotlink protection though. There must be something I need to do differently with my images so they work, even with the hotlink protection enabled.

You're welcome. I still wonder which one is the actual cause...

I think you can turn back on your hotlinking protection and add your site to the safe list. I'm not sure about that exactly.

Perhaps, more SSL experienced members may guide you properly.

I missed the window of editing my post above. I forgot to mention the two files needing the adjustments;

includes/configure.php admin/includes/configure.php

Oh, no... I forgot about your links to the store from the index.html main page. Perhaps, wait until you get expert advice. :yes:

You need to check your main page links ...

You appear to have included the &zenid=blah_blah_blah

You never want to hard code that to a link ... this will cause you major issues ...

To fix this, just edit your links and remove the &zenid= and whatever session id is after it ...

That took care of the problem with my main shop page images, but now on my log in page, the button images are still gone and now the text is gone, too.

Any idea what I messed up now? :wacko:

Well, it's reversed now. I'm seeing no images via http, but images via https. Also, there is something wrong with the english.php because of the top nav bar link or something's going on. :unsure:

If you want, maybe post the contents of your configure.php... but, minus the database name, username, and password.

I put up my maintenance mode until I'm sure I've got all these zenid things cleared up. I'm also trying to add a home link in the header and I messed something up.

I am going to try one last time to get this all fixed and if I can't, I will post the info here for help.

I can't wait to get back to painting - all this technical stuff is too much for me! :dontgetit
