Some question about ZenCart

Hi guys, currently Im using Creloaded, and seriously consider switching to Zen. No, I dont have any problem with Cre now, but as a programmer I know Im living with a bomb here.
Anyway, let's forget about Cre, I have some questions about Zen:

It appears to me that Zen's template system is quite ..complex (probably all OSC based carts are like this). I dont know much about Zen but in Cre you probably cant use the template of older version for a newer one, how is that in Zen?
Am I expected to do a lots of fixes here and there everytime Zen releases a newer version?
Somehow there are very few Zen templates available (Im talking about the paid ones), is there any site that has a good collection of Zen templates (that works with the newest version of Zen) that I can take a look at?

yes there are quite a few. do a google search for zencart templates and you will find them no problem.

so far i have not had any issues with my template system and updates of zencart. now of coruse there where some changes to this newest release and its actualy alot better now since all the files for your template system are in one place along with alot of other cool changes. look at the release doc from the newest version to find out more. So if you know about php and such, you shouldnt have ANY problems with zencart, youll fall in love. as some say. if you have to THINK, you HAVENT been zenned!.
