1054 Unknown column 'p.products_id' in 'on clause'

Can someone help me figure out how to fix this? My pal just moved her cart to a new server and when we click on a catagory from the catalog, we get this error.

ANy suggestions?

Go to Admin->Tools->Server Info.

Please post all the information shown there down until the blue "PHP Version" starts.

The error suggests mismatched database version compared to php file/code version.

I just got the same type of error. It turns out that the MySQL on the server got upgraded, and thats the source of the issue. Zen Cart needs to get upgraded as well to deal with MySQL 5 (Zen Cart was on 1.2.2, so it was kinda old). Anyways, more info can be found here:

Zen Cart v1.2.x has a number of compatibility problems with MySQL 5

Version 1.3.x has addressed most of the issues. You should plan for an upgrade.

In the meantime, a 3rd-party contributor has shared some code-adjustments based on v1.2.6/7 which help with several (but not all) MySQL5 issues. More info and the link can be found here:
