I've screwed something up.

in Firefox it looks great. In IE it looks like crap. It looked fine in IE before I started messing with the Style sheet today. Now it's screwed up and I've removed everything I put in earlier and it still looks bad. Does anyone see what might be the problem?

This would be much easier with a dev tools plugin for IE.

I was so excited because I made a lot of progress today...bummer.

Thanks.

Re: I've screwed something up.

With the exception of > padding: 0.4e;on line 705 of your stylesheet, I'm at a loss to tell you what "it" might be.

You might review the code that you have for the defines main page that appears to contain the text and the rotating image.

Am I looking for something specific?

Re: I've screwed something up.

I would guess that this is represented in this file with html formatting, as FF & IE tend to render what they find in error mostly differently this is what I suspect.

You can copy the contents to a code editor and maybe go to w3.org or htmldog and uae a tool to validate the code... 0or you might just validate the site with w3/validator.

I actually just checked and it indicates errors that when you check should be of assistance.

Re: I've screwed something up.

Why not delete this line of code:

<style TYPE="text/css"> #launch_text, #launch_text a {background-color: #786350; color: #FFF;} </style>

and just add the declarations to your stylesheet.css

#launch_text, #launch_text a {background-color: #786350; color: #FFF;}

Re: I've screwed something up.

You should also take care of these:

line 95 column 27 - Warning: <img> element not empty or not closed
line 95 column 27 - Warning: <img> lacks "alt" attribute

These refer to this line of code:

<div class="image_rotate"><img src="./images/rotate/11.jpg"></div>

Which should look like this:

<div class="image_rotate"><img src="../images/rotate/11.jpg" alt="" /></div>
