I've had an online store since June 2006 and am about to open a "real" store, keeping the online store going. I've been fretting about how I'm going to keep the website stock levels correct as I make sales in the "real" store. Have you found a solution to this? All I could think of was this:
I'll periodically export my item list from QB
I have an Excel sheet which contains an entire listing of my stock - it also has a macro which formats it for use by Easy Populate (or EZ Populate - it's in the downloads section)
I'll add a vlookup to the Excel sheet so that it checks the quantities against the item list exported from QB
I'll then use EZ-Populate to bring the Excel sheet into Zen Cart
It's probably only 10-15 minutes work each time, but I'd so like to have the Zen Cart quantities updated in real time.
A total pain in the neck, but it's the only thing I could come up with.
If you've found a better solution, I'd so love to hear about it.
Thanks - Cath
