I'm an older account of oscommerce.

Can I use oscommerce contribution? Installation is the same?
How can I change the manufacturesr box in dropdown?

No, I mean... change it in what way? change position? change the manufacturers? change how many are shown befor drop down? etc, etc?

If you are looking to change the title from ...Manufacturer to ... "Suppliers"...

In the admin > tools > Developers tools > bottom left box enter the text that you seek > drop down all catalog files > search

Most of these are in the english.php file as defines and you can change the text between the single quotes.
