Product Additional Images Aren't Appear!

id read some other threads about this topic..but stilll i couldnt understand why mine arent working..let me explain how i did step by step to see if i did it wrong..

id prepared 4 images
kenneth.jpg
kenneth_01.jpg
kenneth_02.jpg
kenneth_03.jpg

1. id created a new category named JACKET
2. id created a new product KENNETH
3. below, products image>browse>c:\kenneth.jpg >upload to category>main directory>preview>update.
4. then i repeated as above (#3) with the next image kenneth_01.jpg. and repeted again the other 2 more images.

that's all i did & the problem is when i look at my site Home>Jacket>Kenneth, it shows only one image. in fact the one tht shows up is the last image i uploaded kenneth_03.jpg.

can anyone explain to me what goes wrong & if theres anything i should re-check in my admin panel..?:dontgetit

Try renaming the additional images style from

kenneth_01.jpg

to

kenneth_1.jpg

Do this first, Then only use the admin to upload the main image...
FTP the additional images to the /images folder

Uploading in the admin replaces the link to the main image reference in the DB and it would now be looking for

kenneth_01_1.jpg as the first additional image etc.

I cannot get an image to upload for my Products. I'm in the categories/products section of the Admin console, but when you click on a product image, it defaults to the no_picture.gif. I am trying to upload from my pc, then click preview, but it still shows No Picture Available. Any ideas?

In the categories/products section of the Admin are you selecting "Browse" next to the image name box? Then navigating to the image location on your PC and selecting it? Is it's path appearing in the image name box?

Yes, I am selecting browse in the categories/products section of the admin console, and the path of the .gif or .jpg appears in the box. When I select 'preview' however, the no_picture.gif default is all I can see. On the website, when I select 'properties' on one of the images, it keeps pointing to no_picture.gif, no matter what I do. I have manually ftp'd the images to the directories where they appear and manually point to that directory in the categories/products section, but the product images still do not appear. I have disabled this feature for now so that the product images do not appear, but I would eventually like to show images with my products. If you need access to the Admin console to verify this, let me know.
