Most .mp3's won't upload

I give up!
Only eight out of eighteen .mp3 files I tried to upload, as a media clip, via the Media Collection feature actually uploaded.

Any suggestions as to why this might be happening?

Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?

You may have to upload your mp3 files via FTP - HTTP can get a little dicey as file size increases.

How/where would i do that?

And how would I assign the media Clip to the Product that way?

Hi Ben -

Haven't gotten that far yet myself, but ...

You can FTP the file directly to the /path/to/cart/media directory

Then in admin>extras/media manager assign it to the appropriate (created) product - I think. Not sure - as I said - I haven't gotten that far yet myself (still beating another issue to death). :lamo:

I've ftp'ed the .mp3 that wouldn't upload to Media Manager>Media Collection, to the Media file.

Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to assign it to a Product?

Or can anyone help me with my original request:
