eSelect/Moneris Solution for OS on ZenCart

Hi Everybody,

I'm really interested in setting up a merchant account for my store with Moneris. I currently have a Moneris merchant account for face-to-face transactions, so I'd like to stick with them.

The problem is that there doesn't seem to be Moneris payment mod for ZenCart 1.3.5. I just downloaded the API for OsCommerce and since Zen is based on OS, I'm wondering if it would work?

I took a look at the files. There's only 4 of them: a sql file to build a table, a language file, a file that goes into the payment folder and file that gets placed into a 'moneris' folder.

There's also some code additions/edits to:

\catalog\includes\application_top.php
\catalog\admin\includes\application_top.php
\catalog\includes\configure.php
\catalog\checkout_process.php
\catalog\admin\orders.php

I realize that some of these files may be a little different in ZC 1.3.5, but things seem to be pretty straight forward. I say 'straight forward' because my PHP sucks and I don't really know what to look for so I could be waaay off...

It would be most appreciated if someone with a better understanding of the workings of Zen could take a quick look and let me know if this would be possible. I'm sure a number of Canadian Zen users would like to have additional open when it comes to merchant accounts.

Just a bit of follow up. I contacted Moneris to see if they had any plans in the works to offer an API for ZenCart. Here is their response:

Apparently, there is currently a 3rd party API module that is available
for ZenCart, but it is not supported by us. ZenCart can currently run
with our DirectPost integration method, which is what we have developed
for OsCommerce. For the future, a PHP integration is something that we
have been planning to integrate for OsCommerce, but unfortunately we do
not have a timeline as to when this will be available.

So, is the 3rd party API they're referring to the old contribution in the archives? Has anyone had any luck getting this to work with the latest version of Zen?
