I don't know what to do... Choosing Processor

I think I might not be in the right forum for this..... and thank you in advance for reading this post.... I just did my first install of zen cart and it seems pretty awesome....

I have a client that wants to use it for his online store. he has a retail store, already has a merchant with is bank..... i'm not sure how to get him ready to take payments through the web. do i suggest another solution or how would we do that? I sense that this is an idiot question and i greatly appreciate all friendly responses despite that.

Someone makes a purchase at the site and the money is collected by the Gateway. The Gateway then deposits the money to the Bank.

You or your Client, will need to determine which payment Gateway is to be used.
Popular choices are; Authorize.net & Linkpoint.com in the US and InternetSecure.com or PSIgate.com in Canada.
