Why cant I find 'customer greeting' in layout settings?

Why cant I find 'customer greeting' in layout settings?

I want to remove welcome guest etc from the home page and Zencarts FAQ gives the method Admin>Configuration>Layout Settings>Customer Greeting>Show on index Page- but when I get to layout settings its not there.......sorry if im being stupid..thanks in advance

What version are you using? The setting is about 1/2 way down the page.

Ah, that could be the problem. (I don't remember when we added the switch, 1.3.0?)

Upgrading would be advisable.
