special end date on product info

I've add this on tpl_product_info_display.php:

to have specials end date on product info; but I've this error:

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'Object' at line 1
in:
[Object]

Why?
Any suggestion is appreciate.

The fields are referenced from select statements as:

$products_end->fields['expires_date']

Sorry, I don't undertsand

You are referencing the field as:

$products_end['expires_date']

You need to reference it as:

$products_end->fields['expires_date']
