Order on Main Page

I would like to change order on main page so New products are at the top, above text done on main page via Define Pages.

Any help appreciated.

Admin> Configuration> Index Listing. Change the Sort Order.

Do you mean admin/configure.php and find index listing in doc?

No...not in the files...enter the admin for your store...then select

Configuration> Index Listing > and set/change the Sort Order.
