Is it possible to add quantities left from zen to main site?

Hello all

I have been using zencart now for around a year and a half roughly which we feel is a great piece of software. We run a site which takes bookings for different events around the uk and display how many places left on each event. The problem we are facing is we have to auto update manually the php files to show how many places are left on the main site once people have booked on the zencart side.

Is it possible to use some code or is there something in the database which can be linked to so the code (numbers) on the main site is autoupdated when they book through zencart ?

If the main site (the page you want to display this on) is php then you can query the database.

Thank you for posting back so soon. The whole site we use is php but when it comes to databases that is something which i have not ever really touched upon. By any chance would you know what the query would be in a normal situation?
