suddenly can't edit product descriptions!

hi,

i've had no troubles building and editing my product database until just an hour ago. i installed the tinymce editor and have been using that since day 1 of this project. a little later i added the tabbed products lite mod and have had no troubles with that either. just earlier tonight i added a half dozen products with no issues.

but now i can't get the products description to update!

i can browse to the product editor and that comes up as usual -- no problem. but any changes i make to the "Products Description:" box fail to register.

i can type in the "Products Description" box, but when i click "preview", those changes don't show up. if i click "back", the "Products Description" box has reverted to the way it was before i started editing. if i click "update", my changes don't suddenly re-appear, unfortunately -- the product description is unchanged.

there are no error messages with any of this.

i can make OTHER changes from the same "edit product" screen. i can change the title, change the price, change the sort order, etc. just not the product description.

any ideas what's behind this?

the only changes i made during the time i was last able to edit until now were to install the updated ZenLightbox mod (i'd already been using the previous edition) and install image handler 2. since i don't really need IH2, i've already gone back and uninstalled it -- still no luck.

hmm, the next morning everything works fine.

all i did was restart.

Perhaps it was a cache issue ... or a gremlin ... :eek:

remember don't get the gremlins wet!:cry:
