Over-riding the header seach box

Hi!

I'm trying to over-ride mytheme/sideboxes/tpl_search_header.php, but any changes I make are not having any effect.

The reason i need to do this is that the search box and button need id's so I can css theme them.

http://alanserver.homelinux.com/montech (sometimes offline)

Thanks in advance,

From Alan

Re: Over-riding the header seach box

Are you placing this edited file in an area/folder in includes/templates/montech/sideboxes/ ??

It looks as though you have this active and also from your post that you are placing it in the correct location, but I ask for verification only.

If all is as it should be, try posting the code that you have entered and what you intended with the edits

*Bangs head on desk

I didn't spot the php if/else thing so I was editing the wrong code.
