single image for multiple products, how to do it ?

Hello.
Due to some short comming of zen , some of products that i need to enter will use same image..
So , how can i add same image to multiple products wihtought uploading same image under different name ?

also , i need to remove the text that say products was enter in database at ... that appreas under products page . i did that once, but for life of me, i can not find the solution again .

well if you are using easy populate, you can just put in that image name for it to point to. if your not, im not sure what you can do as manually typing in the image names doesnt work anymore (i guess, there were a few posts about it not working and that being one of the things they were working on fixing)

as for the other, i believe you goto

admin --> catalog --> product types --> edit layout --> show date set it to 0

Thanks.. i just downloaded the addon, this addon seems to be for updating zen database using text file .. ( importing products ) .
what my original question was .. i need to refrence many products to single image ..
for example.
I have cleaning chemical , this products comes in different size , but they all have a same image.. image is not changing for those products.

However, because of products that this site will carry , I can not use Attributes , because , each products , regarless of thier attribute , they have manufacturere partnumber..
so , i have to create multiple products, with same information , except , size and price would be different ( including part number ) , thus , i don't want to upload same image for each product , after all, i will be using same image over and over again for many products..

in the spreadsheet, YOU have to assign the products image name, so you can just assign the same image name to the products that share a like image.

I have several products that use the same generic image, so what I do when I add new products is I disable "replace existing image with new" in the area where you select an image to upload with the new Product listing.

So that way it assigns the same image name to the product without re-uploading it.

There was a little issue with browsers that no longer allowed manual typing in the input box where the browse buttons exist ...

This has been fixed in the upcoming v1.3.6 so that you will now be able to:

1 browse for an image on your computer and load to your site in the /images directory or the /images subdirectory that you choose in the dropdown

2 manually typing in the image name and use an existing image on your site in the /images directory or the /images subdirectory that you choose in the dropdown

3 delete an image from the database
