problem in prerequisitves

I'm trying to install the software, have renamed my dist-config.php files and changed the permissions.

I've rechecked the system and

admin/includes/configure.php

doesn't exist.

It does. I can see it on the server, but the check is not recognising it. So I've reinstalled zencart, it still doesn't show.

Everything else is fine. It just won't see this file so I can't get any further.

Any ideas please.

Does the 'config.php' file have permissions of 777?

The install script needs 777 on both the 'config.php' files.

The learning is in the doing.

Yes, both files have 777.
