product listing to show description but not name

can this be done? in the product listing, to show only description but not the name?
right now if i turn off name, the description also dissapears..

also, when i click into the product, how do i get rid of the "model" and "# unit in stock"? i thought it might be in "product info" but it isn't, and i can't seem to find where else i can turn these things off.

You would have to edit your copy of the tpl_modules_product_listing.php file

admin > catalog > products > edit layout > Show Model Number
admin > catalog > products > edit layout > Show Quantity in Stock

i opened up the file and i guess it doesn't help that i don't understand what anything is.. haha.. thanks for the pointer anyway, i guess will have to leave this one as is for now!
