ZenCart Architecture

Hi,

I have read in various places about the spaghetti-ness of OsC. I am told ZenCart is a re-architecture, but originally based on OsC.

Is it fair to say the architecture at this point is completely different than Osc? Is the code on the whole cleaner and more structured?

Any advice?

After three years of development it is fair to say that Zen Cart is much better than osC. Download it and give it a try.

I have 2 e-commerce sites. One is OSC and the other is Zen Cart. The Zen Cart site (newer) is much easier to admin and work with in general. Currently my OSC site is feverishly being converted to Zen Cart (heavy customization and very-very large number of products).

The one advantage to OSC over Zen Cart has been the number of user contributions (downloadables). However, this advantage is rapidly diminishing as the Zen Cart community explodes with new members. Plus the support here is outstanding with intense participation by the development team and forum community members.

This could possably be the most known of "understatments" iv seen to date... "Fair to say??" - honistly, i believe that zencart is a whole nother relm, comparitivly. and light-years ahead as far as the admin console.

ZEN CART BLOWS THE "CODE" RIGHT OUT OF OsC!!!!!!! <---- i believe that better suits the verbage for that statement.
