You moofed up?

Perhaps you have a site we could peek at to see what setting has changed that you might have forgotten about ...

Do you upgrade both the files and the database?

Re: upgraded from .5 to .6 all my prices show zero

I am unsure if I did it correctly I transfered files to server over .5 files and then went to zen installer and installed.

Maybe I did that wrong? .

Re: upgraded from .5 to .6 all my prices show zero

Could you check your currency table?

Is USD the default? Is it marked default? Is it set to 1.00?

Re: upgraded from .5 to .6 all my prices show zero

Ajeh

I didnt change anything.. version .5 was working fine.. I installed .6 over it and now all prices are shown as ) on front end.

I hope Im wrong but I think something went wrong with install, my english file shows USD. All my settings I believe are correct as Im not as familiar with them as I would like yet..

I just dont know.. I have checked the things you have asked and they appear to be ok.

Is there a way to reload or should I not do that?

Re: upgraded from .5 to .6 all my prices show zero

Could you peek at your currencies and just make sure that they look right for decimals etc. and default settings ...

When I use your currency box, it does not hold the value I select ...

Also, peek in the Catalog ... Product Type ... do all the product types have Y on Add to Cart except the Document General?

Re: upgraded from .5 to .6 all my prices show zero

And you don't have $1.00 actually entered in anything where a value is required as the $ will cause any number to go to 0 ...

Makes me want to peek in your Admin ... 'cause I know this is gonna be something silly ... :smartass:

Re: upgraded from .5 to .6 all my prices show zero

in the meantime, may I suggest you download all your /includes files and compare them with the working files on your PC? or even with a master set of untouched 1.3.6 files?

sometimes FTP uploads leave 0-byte files, resulting in very odd symptoms.

This is one of the components suggested in this article:

Re: upgraded from .5 to .6 all my prices show zero

Something is goobered up ... and I am suspecting there is a bad upload of a file ...

It is possible that there is bad data ... but you would expect this to be both on the Catalog and in the Admin if this were something that was trashed out ...

Even putting something on Special ... it calculates the discount right ... but again there is 0 for the price and 0 for the special ...

Since you do not have anything customized ... have you tried reloading the files or do a compare of your site with a clean v1.3.6 with something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com ...
