Check customer gift certificate balance

Check customer gift certificate balance

Ive searched the admin and the forum but cant seem to find the answer.
Can i somehow check the gift certificate balances of customers?

Without 3rd party accounting their balances id like to be able to see what i owe people in terms of gift credits.

Funny you should ask ... what's this I see in the Customers Listing in the upcoming release!? Could that be a GV Balance?! :smartass:

Great new addition!!!:thumbsup: Ummmm so how do we do this in the meantime??

And on that same note, how does one refund a gift certificate and clear the Gift Certificate Account Balance?? I have a customer who will not be using the Gift Certificate he purchased after all, and I agreed to refund his money.. However I need to also clear his Gift Certificate Account balance.. Any ideas??

You could browse the database table coupon_gv_customer in phpMyAdmin and anyone with a balance has outstanding GV available to them ... :smile:

You could browse the database table coupon_gv_customer in phpMyAdmin and anyone with a balance has outstanding GV available to them ... :smile:Okay.. that was my first thought, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't some mechanism in the Admin panel that I had overlooked.. :)
