Authorize.net (AIM) need Tranaction ID and Auth Code on merchant emails

Can the Authorize.net (AIM) Tranaction ID and Auth Code be inserted into the mechant email when it returns from auth only?

This is really important and a time saver to my business.

thanks,
Jeff Michaels

Re: Authorize.net (AIM) need Tranaction ID and Auth Code on merchant emails

Just an added note:

I made a test order. I paid by credit card via Authorize.net (AIM).
I can see the Transaction ID and Auth Code in Admin/Customers/Orders at the bottom.

I went to the Authorizenet table in mySQL and the were no records...... ?!?

With that data still showing in the Admin/Customers/Orders page, where can this data be stored in mySQL.

Re: Authorize.net (AIM) need Tranaction ID and Auth Code on merchant emails

The Admin "orders" page pulls that info from the orders_status_history table.

To add it to your admin-confirmation-emails, I would expect that this (for auth_net_aim) should work in theory (I have not tested this):
/includes/classes/order.php
approx line 971:```
// send additional emails
if (SEND_EXTRA_ORDER_EMAILS_TO != '') {
$extra_info=email_collect_extra_info('','', $this->customer['firstname'] . ' ' . $this->customer['lastname'], $this->customer['email_address'], $this->customer['telephone']);
$html_msg['EXTRA_INFO'] = $extra_info['HTML'];

global $payment_modules;
if ($payment_modules->auth_code || $payment_modules->transaction_id) {
$pmt_details = 'AuthCode: ' . $payment_modules->auth_code . ' TransID: ' . $payment_modules->transaction_id . "\n\n";
$email_order = $pmt_details . $email_order;
$html_msg['EMAIL_TEXT_HEADER'] = nl2br($pmt_details) . $html_msg['EMAIL_TEXT_HEADER'];
}

zen_mail('', SEND_EXTRA_ORDER_EMAILS_TO, SEND_EXTRA_NEW_ORDERS_EMAILS_TO_SUBJECT . ' ' . EMAIL_TEXT_SUBJECT . EMAIL_ORDER_NUMBER_SUBJECT . $zf_insert_id,
$email_order . $extra_info['TEXT'], STORE_NAME, EMAIL_FROM, $html_msg, 'checkout_extra');
}

Sorry, it didn't work....

This is no Auth Code or Transaction ID from Authorizenet showing on this merchant confirmation email after inserting your code, but it's in the Admin as I listed above

thanks,
Jeff

Re: Authorize.net (AIM) need Tranaction ID and Auth Code on merchant emails

is there any reason why the authorizenet table doesn't contain ANY of the info of the 2 orders I did today (as sample orders to make sure everything is going through properly). The Auth Code and Transaction ID show up in the Customer's order data and the Admin orders data though... So where ARE they stored?

Things that make you go hmmmm..

Re: Authorize.net (AIM) need Tranaction ID and Auth Code on merchant emails

Is there any other solution to making this code operational for me?
I'd love to get this to appear on our emails before I launch our new website on Wed morning. I had a ton of coffee brewing and no one to drink it.....

thanks ever so much,

Jeff

Re: Authorize.net (AIM) need Tranaction ID and Auth Code on merchant emails

Have you made sure curl is complied on your server and working on your site?

Your site is set to secure on checkout?

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled AuthorizeNet AIM and set to production?

You are using the correct The API Login ID and Transaction Key?

Have you tried to recreate these?

Have you tried a manual charge to ensure AuthorizeNet is in fact setup correctly?

Have you tried to generate a new Transaction Key and made sure to cut & paste it vs type it?

Have you tried Production vs Test?

Have you checked the Configuration ... Credit Cards ... to make sure what credit cards your site is setup to accept?

Re: Authorize.net (AIM) need Tranaction ID and Auth Code on merchant emails

Linda,

I just want to make sure you understand first, Authorize.net is working perfectly and charging my transactions. That is not the problem.
I just can't get Dr Byte's code to make the auth code and transaction ID to appear in our merchant emails so we don't have to look it up for every order to capture funds. We only use Auth Only on purpose.

My other question is why nothing appears in the authorizenet table in mySQL.

Please confirm that is why you are asking the previous questions and I'll fill in all the blanks for ya

thanks,
Jeff

NEVER MIND.... I just got your second email

The authorizenet table is only populated if you have the switch to "Enable Database Storage" turned on in your authorize.net payment module settings in ZC admin.

Re: Authorize.net (AIM) need Tranaction ID and Auth Code on merchant emails

Let's try this instead of what I gave you earlier:```
if ($GLOBALS[$_SESSION['payment']]->auth_code || $GLOBALS[$_SESSION['payment']]->transaction_id) {
$pmt_details = 'AuthCode: ' . $GLOBALS[$_SESSION['payment']]->auth_code . ' TransID: ' . $GLOBALS[$_SESSION['payment']]->transaction_id . "\n\n";
$email_order = $pmt_details . $email_order;
$html_msg['EMAIL_TEXT_HEADER'] = nl2br($pmt_details) . $html_msg['EMAIL_TEXT_HEADER'];
}
