Zen-Cart.com Blog

It seems that the zen-cart admins need a blog. I know that they post release announcements and that they're all over the forums, but I think giving us a bit of news every few days isn't too much to ask.

I had no idea 1.3.6 was on its way out. Not that it's a big deal, I've already upgraded, but I would have liked to have known before the release announcement that an upgrade was pending.

Most major open-source organizations have this sort of thing. I think it would come in handy and would keep the community as a whole better informed about what's happening, what changes are occuring, plans for zen-cart in the future, that sort of thing.

The little tidbits I glaze from the forum isn't really helping.

No offence taken, and none intended ... just adding some more info from the other side of the fence ...

Others have begged for a blog from the dev team before. Most wanted nothing more than to rant. There's enough of that around here. We'd rather code and support the code than merely appease whiners (no I'm not calling you a whiner ... that's a reference to previous nonsensical crap).

We'll consider the possibility of some pre-release information. No guarantees though.

Seriously, no need to stress out. I just felt that a blog would improve things. I wouldn't even allow comments. Just a go-to place for where the Zen team is at on this, that or the other.

But if you can't do it, you can't do it.
